New! Progea is looking for a Field Application Engineer to provide technical support and training on the Movicon technology

Your Mission:

  • Identify customers and markets where Progea’s software products can be utilized.
  • Develop relationships with various key personnel inside organizations such as OEMs, system integrators, and end-users.
  • Develop a network of distributors and/or representative sales channels as well as system-integrators and end-users.
  • Work with the marketing group to develop business and marketing plans for sales of Progea’s software products.
  • Preparing and deliver sales presentations, attending trade shows and seminars, and aiding in Progea success through awareness building and team selling.
  • Apply knowledge and build rapport within major corporate accounts, system integration, engineering, and consulting firms.


Degree in Engineering field and/or 5+ years in a sales role preferred. Experience selling automation products, specifically SCADA/HMI software. Successful track record of business development in multiple vertical markets.

Location: Mid-West, WI, IL, MN preferred, alternate locations are negotiable

Progea is looking for a Regional Sales Manager to support and develop its business in the Mid-West (United States)

Your Mission:

  • Perform technical support activities with customers.
  • Conduct and develop training activities on products.
  • Experience in the techniques of communication with field devices and PLCs.
  • Perform analysis and validation for the Test & Validation department.
  • Manage and analyze requirements for customer requests and architectures, perform technical advice, advise clients on solutions to improve their applicable projects.
  • Communicate and coordinate workflow with team members including regular progress reports.
  • Think, work, and behave according to Progea’s work model autonomously and in compliance to the Progea Customer Care guidelines.


  • At least 2 years’ experience in SCADA/HMI applications.
  • Experience in the techniques of communication with field devices and PLCs.
  • Experience in the management and access to historical data, in particular relational databases.
  • Knowledge of procedural languages, preferred VB.NET (or C#).
  • Experience in debugging techniques and code management.
  • Capacity to manage product code traceability techniques.
  • Must be organized, motivated, and handle multi-tasking.
  • Capacity to work part as a team and have interpersonal communication skills.
  • Speak and write English fluently. Second language preferred Italian or Spanish.
  • Be flexible and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
  • Adequate Movicon Training as necessary at Progea’s office in Italian HQ.
